Falling Block Impact Tester is used to conduct the test of coating resistance from impact when it is dropped from a certain height. It is designed according to BS 3900 E3. The Block is allowed to fall from a certain height and the damage caused on the coating is evaluated on the basis of adhesion, flexibility, deformability after impact testing.
